04 July New Online Workshop Series: Mental Health First Aid
Approximately 27.8% of adults (around 17.8 million people) meet the criteria for a mental illness each year. In 2024, mental health issues accounted for around 17.4% of all sick leaves among DAK-insured employees, with an average of 342 lost workdays per 100 insured individuals.¹How can managers and colleagues provide first aid?
In the C-TO-BE workshop series, you will learn how to recognize early signs of psychological stress in colleagues, respond sensitively, and know when and how to offer support – and when professional help is needed.
What to expect?
- Introductory Workshop (2 hours)
A compact introduction to mental health in the workplace, dealing with crisis situations, and sensitive communication strategies. - Deep-Dive Workshops (90 minutes each)
Each session focuses on a common mental health condition: Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Abuse, Psychosis
We work with real-life case studies. You’ll receive practical tips and engage in peer exchange in small groups.
Who can participate?
Managers, HR professionals, and employees with responsibility for team members or colleagues.
Who facilitates the workshop?
A certified MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) coach, specially trained to provide first aid for mental health problems. MHFA-certified coaches are equipped with the knowledge and skills to recognize and support individuals with mental health issues and refer them to professional help when necessary.
What is the format of the C-TO-BE workshop series?
Online via MS Teams, small groups (max. 10 participants), training languages: German or English – your choice
