What does structured negotiation look like in action?

  • Consistency: Everyone follows the same WIN rhythm. All teams involved speak the same language. Different players within the organization align their interests before negotiations commence. 
  • Speed: Structure and validated steps replace intuition and perceived priorities.
  • Risk reduction: Legal, compliance, and financial checks happen early and proactive, not in panic mode and reactive.

With WIN we also define roles and agenda control upfront. That keeps meetings focused and decisions crisp. No lost emails, no “who owns this?”- moments.

Research on Toyota’s standardized work (Harvard Business Review, Spear & Bowen, 1999) found that clearly defined processes paradoxically increase flexibility and innovation.
