Intercultural Competence Meets Strategic HR Development

Onboarding & Retention – International

The shortage of skilled workers is forcing many companies to recruit internationally – but true retention only begins after the contract is signed. This training empowers HR professionals and leaders not only to welcome international professionals, but to integrate and retain them in the long term. The focus lies on a strategically planned, culturally sensitive onboarding process as well as measures that foster emotional connection and psychological safety within the team.

Target group:

This training is aimed at HR professionals, recruiters, and talent developers who want to successfully integrate and retain international professionals. It also addresses managers, project leaders, and team leads who work with international employees or lead teams in intercultural contexts. Additionally, it is relevant for companies that already employ international professionals or expats – or plan to do so in the future.

Specifically, the training pursues the following goals:

  • Develop an understanding of the success factors for sustainable integration of international professionals
  • Strengthen intercultural competence in HR and leadership
  • Provide practical strategies for appreciative and structured onboarding
