Day 2 | Steering, Communicating, and Escalating Effectively
- Creating a clear project status: making progress, open issues, deviations, and upcoming decisions transparent at a glance.
- Risk and issue management: prioritizing risks, defining actions, assigning ownership, and using early warning indicators.
- Change and scope management: assessing new requirements and making their impact on timelines, resources, and costs visible.
- Stakeholder communication: clear updates, efficient meetings, expectation management, and clear decisions.
- Escalation and competing priorities: defining escalation criteria, preparing decisions, and keeping the project moving.
- Project closeout: systematically securing handovers, outstanding actions, and lessons learned.
Methods
